Love Walk

It’s a Love Thang!

Thank you to each of you who supported Love Walk 2019 in any way, (financial support, advocacy, seeking out sponsors, silent auction items, and door prizes).  A special “thank you” goes out to our Anonymous donor who offered a matching grant of up to $10,000 (which we more than met, with the help of our amazing donors!) Love Walk 2019 was fantastic!

To date, the Love Walk total is $45,616.55, and donations are still coming in!  This is truly a blessing!

Summer Camp 2019

Summer Camp 2019 Applications are being accepted beginning Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

Completed applications for children 6 years – 12 years of age must be brought to Wesley’s Administrative office at 1601 Drayton Street, Savannah, GA 31401. 

Completed applications for children 5 years of age and entering Kindergarten for the 2019/2020 school year must be brought to The Lady Bamford Center, 1410 Richards Street, Savannah, GA 31405.

Camp slots for each age group will fill up fast. We cannot hold a spot for anyone until the application is received in the office AND the $25.00 registration fee is paid.

Pre-K Applications

Pre-K applications for the 2019/2020 school year will be available beginning Wednesday, February 20, 2019. 
To be eligible to attend a Georgia lottery funded Pre-K program your child(ren) must be four years of age on or before September 1, 2019.

Applications will be available from February 20, 2019 – March 7, 2019 at these locations:

Wesley Community Centers of Savannah, Inc. (1601 Drayton Street, Savannah, GA 31401) and The 
Lady Bamford Early Childhood Learning Center (1410 Richards Street, Savannah, GA 31415)

All applications must be submitted no later than Monday, March 7, 2019.

Become a Wesley GEM (Give Every Month)

Financial contributions are urgently needed. All donations are tax deductible and will be used to support Wesley's mission of serving those in need.

Just $12 a month can provide: Toothbrushes and toothpaste for children in our Early Childhood Education and Development Centers. Our teachers assist children with brushing their teeth after lunch. When funds are available teachers also give toothbrushes and toothpaste to children in need for use at home.

You may also have the opportunity to sponsor up to 60 campers in our Youth Arts Program to attend a field trip to a restaurant that represents the weekly cultural themes.

Want your church to be a GEM?

United Methodist Churches: As a GEM, your church will send a pre-selected amount each month to the South Georgia Conference (as a Conference Advance Special donation for Wesley) so that Wesley can continue to provide services to more than 4,000 families each year.
All Other Church Denominations: Add Wesley to your yearly budget and send in a pre-selected amount on a schedule that works for your church (monthly, quarterly). Write "GEM" in the memo section.

As a GEM supporter, your church will receive a plaque with your designated GEM for display.
