Wesley Community Centers of Savannah, Inc. thanks all those who came out to Love Walk 2015 to Walk the Talk and put Wesley’s motto, “It’s a Love Thang!” into action.

Love Walk 2015, which took place Saturday, February 14, 2015, included pre and post rallies, a walk through historic downtown Savannah, entertainment, fellowship, and was dedicated to three special people: in memory of Mrs. Ulla Michels, in honor of Mrs. Norma Curry, and in honor of Mrs. Virginia Holliday.

In the memory of Mrs. Ulla Michels. Most known for her smile while volunteering in the Food Pantry, Mrs. Michels, a member of Isle of Hope United Methodist Church, was a faithful Wesley volunteer who dedicated her time, talents, and resources to benefit the women, children, and families of Wesley. Mrs. Michels was missed at Love Walk 2015.

In honor of Mrs. Norma Curry, who spent countless hours being a true advocate to secure in-kind donations and financial support to benefit Wesley programs. Though she has moved out of town, Mrs. Curry is still a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

In honor of Mrs. Virginia Holliday, a member of Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church, who was this year's Love Walk 2015 Sweetheart Queen. We were delighted to have Mrs. Virginia participate in her 21st Love Walk.

A special Thank You to our sponsors: CelebriTees, Mr. and Mrs. David Chalikian, Garden City United Methodist Church, Publix Super Markets, and J. C. Lewis Ford.

And to Silent Auction, Door Prize, and In-Kind Donors: Barnes and Noble, Live Oak Restaurant Group, Sentient Bean, Bi-Lo, Marco’s Pizza, St. Joseph/Candler, Cason Photography, McDonald’s Brought St., Sticky Fingers, Donna’s Delights Bakery, Mrs. Nancy Brumley, The Crab Shack, Five Guys Burgers & Fries, Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room, Two Smart Cookies, Fresh Market, Old Town Trolley Tours, Wild Birds Unlimited, Le Nails and Savannah Theatre
