Lady Bamford Early Learning CenterWesley was awarded the contract to manage and operate the Lady Bamford Early Learning Center, which is scheduled to begin operations by January, 2007. This Center, located in West Savannah, will serve up to 58 additional children-with priority given to children who are low-income, homeless, and of differing abilities. Lady Carole Bamford heads the Lady Bamford Charitable Trust, a charitable side venture run through JCB, the construction company owned by her husband, Sir Anthony. Her mission and life passion is to help children succeed early in life. Her charitable efforts started in India where she opened her first early childhood center. In addition to start-up construction of the Center, Lady Bamford recently donated $100,000 to this new site and is expecting quality outcomes. Other partners include the United Way of the Coastal Empire and the City of Savannah. |
